October 16th was an exciting day for four senior students at Columbus High School, as they became the first to participate in the EPIC Work Experience Program (EPIC WEX). To kick off this opportunity, they began their experience at the Mississippi Steel Processing plant in Columbus, MS. Through the EPIC WEX program, these students will extend their learning beyond the classroom, aiding their transition from high school to the workforce or further education. Participants will gain valuable experience in their chosen career fields and develop essential job skills needed for life after high school.
